MEMBERS of the public have helped police to identify a woman wanted in connection with the alleged theft of cash from a Barrow supermarket.
Police released a still image from CCTV footage inside the Asda supermarket in Walney Road, Barrow, after an alleged theft of cash.
Police said that at around 10.12am on Tuesday July 9 at Asda a shopper left £50 in cash unattended when it was stolen.
The Evening Mail understands a number of calls were made to police after the image was published on our website.
