A BARROW man will face re-sentencing at crown court after punching his ex-girlfriend three times.
Paul Michael Treen, 29, of Abbotsmead Approach, pleaded guilty to one charge of assault at Furness Magistrates' Court.
Treen retaliated after allegedly being struck over the head with a glass by Tracy Jones outside the New Empire on June 16.
Treen was handed a suspended prison sentence by Preston Crown Court on February 3 for possessing cannabis and illegally obtaining electricity. He will now return to be sentenced on July 28.
