TRIAL Furness Magistrates' Court
A MAN is set to appear in court after being accused of breaking the conditions of a restraining order.
Adam Steven Deakin, of Stileman Walk, Barrow, is alleged to have breached a retraining order taken out by his former partner in January of 2015. He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
It was alleged that on Sunday, December 4, the 29-year-old approached his former partner, Julie Mathieson, in Salthouse Road.
The court heard face-to-face contact between the defendant and the complainant was prohibited by the provisions of the existing order.
Deakin was denied bail and remanded in custody until Thursday December 22 when he is due to appear via videolink for a trial at Furness Magistrates' Court.
