POLICE are investigating an assault which took place in broad daylight.
The incident took place at around 10.45 this morning in Holker Street, Barrow, when a male was out delivering advertising newspapers.

Police are interested in speaking to two male youths who may be connected with the incident.
One was described as being male, wearing a white tracksuit, who had short, brown, wavy hair of medium build.
The second was described as wearing a grey hooded top, who had short, brown hair and of medium build.
South Cumbria-born man identified as motorist killed in Lakes crash
One of the males was said to be carrying a rucksack over one shoulder.
