A MAN has pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children.
Richard Burton, 42, of no fixed abode, yesterday pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing indecent images of children between the ages of 13-15, rated at Category C. Indecent images of children are classified by category, with Category A being the most serious.
Burton was given a sexual harm prevention order which prevents him from making any contact with children known to be under the age of 16 unless within the daily course of life.
He is not allowed to enter social networking sites or have any software which allows him access to the internet without monitoring software being installed by police.
Likewise he is not allowed any devices that can store digital images without monitoring devices on these.
