A MAN who was arrested on the M6 in South Cumbria accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply has appeared in court today.
Anthony Robinson, 26, of Lethbridge Close, Liverpool, was stopped by police on the M6 on Thursday September 29 near Farleton.
He appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court this morning charged with two offences - possession of a class A drug, namely cocaine, with intent to supply and possession of the class B drug cannabis with intent to supply.
Robinson, who was represented by Miss Maureen Fawcett, gave no indication of plea.
He was denied bail by presiding magistrate Mr George Butler and will be remanded in custody before appearing at Preston Crown Court on Thursday October 20 where he is expected to enter a plea.
