THE case of a man accused of travelling to Barrow to deal drugs will be held at crown court.

Ryan Neville Todd faces four charges related to an alleged incident in Barrow last Tuesday. Two relate to alleged possession of Class A crack cocaine and diamorphine, more commonly known as heroin. The other two relate to his alleged intention to supply those drugs to others.

Todd appeared at Furness and District Magistrates Court on Thursday, where deputy district judge Derek French sent the case to the crown court. The 25-year-old defendant, of Bolton, will next appear at Preston Crown Court on September 23.

Todd, who was represented in court my Ms Maureen Fawcett, will remain in custody until then.
