Discarded litter in Dalton Road, Barrow.
WITH reference to your article of Friday October 7 regarding "Householders to be fined for failing to bring in their refuse bins after collection day".
This may be a good way to keep back streets a little cleaner, but will it be carried over to include local businesses as well?
I refer to the rear of the Furness Railway, the Diamond Restaurant (both in a main thoroughfare), the rear of the Nines, the Knights Club - all of whom litter the streets with garbage!!
These bins are left out all the time. Pedestrians are consequently forced to talk on the roadway!
