FAST food junkies craving a secret mix of 11 herbs and spices can rejoice after KFC announced its Barrow branch would reopen today.
As of 1pm today (Wednesday) the outlet in the Hollywood Retail Park was open for business.
Thousands of hungry customers have had to go without their fix of Kentucky fried chicken since the weekend after the chain encountered a problem with its supply of chicken.
The company is continuing to work to reopen all of its stores but advised customers there may be a reduced menu at some of its branches.
A KFC spokesman said: "We anticipate the number of closures will reduce today and over the coming days as our teams work flat out all hours to clear the backlog.
"Each day more deliveries are being made; however, we expect the disruption to some restaurants to continue over the remainder of the week, meaning some will be closed and others operating with a reduced menu or shortened hours."
