A FUNDRAISER'S final event of 2017 is on track to be a sellout with just a few hundred tickets remaining.

Clubland Returns is making a comeback after hundreds of dance, trance and techno music lovers at the last night raised more than £3,000 for charity.

The fundraiser has been organised by shipyard worker Dan Hayes who has vowed to attempt to raise £17,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of his friend Gordon Cooney.

With support from Mathew Robson, Mr Hayes has participated in a series of fundraising events and challenges over the last year, including the London Marathon, the Great North Run, a chest wax, the Great North Swim and a New Year's Dip.

Mr Hayes is determined to sell out the November night and is hoping the venue will reach its 800-person capacity.

He wishes to thank DJs who have been involved including Mark Phillips, Lee Drury, Ken Wass, Ricki Sargent, Mike Walker and Cameron Lees.

The event will be held on Friday November 3 at Manhattans in Cavendish Street, Barrow, from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 each and can be booked online HERE .

Alternatively, tickets will be available from Manhattans from Monday or from Dan Hayes who can be contacted via Facebook.
