If you're one of the lucky few who are celebrating a birthday today then congratulations, because you've got extra reason to celebrate.
A survey of 2,000 Brits has found that July 28 is the best day to have a birthday, according to flower chain Interflora.
Factors such as the likelihood of sunshine, the proximity to payday and the number of people who are likely to turn up to your birthday celebrations, were all taken into account to find the best day to be born.
The summer months unsurprisingly came out on top with June (60 per cent), July (59 per cent) and August (53 per cent) declared as the best time to have birthdays.
However, commiserations must go to those who were born on December 16 which, according to Interflora, is the worst day to have a birthday.
Summer babies are also primed to be the most successful in life with people born in August the most likely to become top earners. This contrasts with December babies who are the least likely to be getting in to the top wage bracket.
July 28 is a special day for Cumbria as the county celebrates 150 years of world-renowned author Beatrix Potter.
Other famous celebrities who have a birthday today are singer Cher Lloyd and footballers Harry Kane and Michael Carrick.
