Iraqi man due in court accused of being caught in Barrow with heroin and crack worth £15,000
A MAN from Iraq is due to appear in court after allegedly being caught with heroin and crack cocaine worth £15,000.
Ari Salih appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court in Barrow last month charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, after being stopped and searched by police in Barrow. The 31-year-old was allegedly found with drugs with a street value of £15,000.
Salih, who provided an address in Stockton-on-Tees to the court, gave no indication of plea.
He was denied bail and remanded in custody until his next court appearance at Preston Crown Court on Friday November 4.
