A HOMELESS 22-year-old man is due to stand trial after being accused of beating up a woman.
Steven William Dixon, of no fixed abode, is being remanded in custody after being charged with the assault of Rachel Dixon in Askam on Saturday September 24.
He pleaded not guilty in a hearing at Furness Magistrates' Court on October 26 and will stand trial today after a hearing on October 29 was adjourned at the request of his defence team.
