THE rain and cloud has made for a miserable start to bank holiday Monday, but what is in store for the rest of the half term holiday week?
The rain is set to ease tonight, and overnight most places are due to become dry.
This evening is expected to have a fresher feel, making it more comfortable for sleeping than in recent nights. The minimum temperature tonight is around 12°C.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is set to start largely dry, however outbreaks of rain will arrive from the west. Into the afternoon it is due to become drier though, with bright or sunny spells developing. The maximum temperature is set to be 18°C.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be dry and bright day, with increasingly warm sunny spells. The day time temperatures are due to reach a maximum of 16°C to 18°C on these days.
Rain is due to arrive into Friday though, and it could be heavy at times. The Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 20°C.
