A 13-year-old girl was hit by a car on a Barrow road this evening.
Cumbria police the teenager was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa car in North Road.
The incident happened at the road crossing, which has Hollywood Park to one side and Tesco Extra to the other.
Police said they received a report of the incident at around 5.30pm.
Police officers and ambulance crew attended the scene and the road was closed.
Cumbria Police said the girl had a possible broken wrist. She was taken to Furness General Hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Barrow police on 101.
