NHS Blood and Transplant is encouraging people to become blood donors in 2018.
RESIDENTS across Furness are being encouraged to donate more than money this winter.
NHS Blood and Transplant have issued a plea for donations ahead of their upcoming session which is taking place in Barrow next month.
The team will be visiting the Forum in Duke Street on March 15 in the hopes boosting blood supplies which can be used to save the lives of patients using the NHS.
The session will be taking place from 12.45- 2.45pm and then again from 3.45pm- 5.45pm.
