A PENSION advocacy group will hold its monthly meeting later this week.
The Barrow branch of Women Against State Pension Inequality (Waspi) will meet on Wednesday July 26 at Hawcoat Memorial Hall, in Dalton Lane, Barrow.
The group campaigns to raise awareness for women who have been adversely affected by changes to the state pension scheme.
An estimated 4,000 women in Furness will have to wait an extra year at least before they can draw their pensions.
The meeting will begin at 7.30pm, with all welcome to attend.
