CONCERNS have been raised over a possible oil spill in the Irish Sea.
Furness Coastguard were paged at 9.20am on Friday over reports of a spill in the sea earlier this week.
Two teams carried out a full inspection along the area's coastline spanning from Bardsea to Roa Island and also around the South Walney Nature Reserve.
While the coastguard are yet to find anything of concern, they are asking people in the area to report any signs of pollution across the coastline this weekend.
