A 15-YEAR-OLD Furness boy assaulted three police officers on the night of the Ulverston Lantern Festival.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, assaulted PCs Hannah Clark, David John Henley and Georgina Henley in Ulverston on Saturday September 16.
He pleaded guilty to all three offences during a hearing at South Cumbria Youth Court on Friday. Facts established by the court included that the incident involved peer pressure and "high jinks gone wrong", and that the second two police officers were injured.
The boy will attend a youth offending panel for eight months and his parents will pay £25 compensation to each of the two injured officers.
