A FORMER corner shop is going under the hammer later this month.
The premises, on the corner of Parker Street and Wordsworth Street, in Barrow, will be up for grabs at auction on July 23 - with a guide price of £35,000.
It will be one of several lots available at the event, which is being organised by Auction House Cumbria and held in the Coronation Hall, Ulverston, from 6.30pm.
The building covers around 100sqm over two floors. The property has planning permission to convert to self contained flats.
The description for the lot said: "Situated in a good location and within walking distance to the town centre.
"This property could be used in a commercial capacity or with relevant planning converted back to residential."
