AFTER hundreds of you entered our competition to be exclusive toy testers at The Entertainer ahead of its grand opening we can now finally reveal the five lucky winners.

A total of 386 eager youngsters were entered into the competition to win one of five places at Barrow's new toy shop's testing session due to take place tomorrow between 4pm and 5pm.

The five lucky toy testers will have exclusive access to the Dalton Road store and will each be given a fun-packed goodie bag at the end.

The five winners have now been picked and the parents whose kids will be Very Important Children (VIC) for the day are: Simon Garner from Barrow, Karen Reeves from Dalton, Toni Roberts from Barrow, Laura Anders from Ulverston and Jodie Logan from Barrow.

We'll contact the winners direct.

Tomorrow night's toy testing session comes just two days before The Entertainer opens its doors to the public.

The first 20 families through the doors after the store opens at 9am on Saturday will take part in a lucky dip to win gift cards worth up to £100.

Saturday's grand opening will also feature appearances from Lego Batman and Lego Ninjago’s Kai and Lloyd.

Rachel Williamson, store manager, said: "We are in the final stages of completing the new toy shop and are so excited about officially opening the store this Saturday with our grand opening event for families in Barrow to enjoy.

"Our special guests, LEGO Batman and friends are looking forward to meeting everyone in store and we've got a balloon artist to make the toy shop even more fun.

"The first 20 families to visit the store on Saturday morning will be in with a chance of getting their hands on a gift card worth up to £100 as part of our lucky dip - meaning they could leave the store with a whole selection of goodies from The Entertainer. It's going to be a great day."
