SCHOOL STREET
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house in Barrow after a smoke alarm was activated.
One crew from Barrow was called to the terraced house in School Street, Barrow, at around 12.50am in the early hours of this morning. The disabled occupant had called 999 after hearing his smoke alarm going off.
On arrival, firefighters discovered there was no fire and checked the gentleman's smoke alarm.
