FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Salthouse Mills in Barrow after a member of the public called with 999 to report a fire.
Crews from Walney and Barrow were tasked to the mills at around 11.30pm last night. On arrival at the scene, firefighters discovered the member of the public had mistaken a large flame coming from the gas terminals' flare stack for a fire.
