FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house in Barrow after a carbon monoxide detector was activated.
Crews from Barrow and Ulverston were tasked to the property in Jarrow Street at around 7pm last night after the carbon monoxide detector inside alerted the occupants. Firefighters used a gas monitor and equipment and declared the property, and neighbouring property, to be safe.
It is believed the detector was faulty or required new batteries.
