Emergency: Firefighters from Barrow and Ulverston were called when a freezer caught fire in a house
A FREEZER burst into flames at a man's house on Walney.
Firefighters from Barrow and Ulverston were called to a terraced house in Avon Street at 1.31pm this afternoon.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the kitchen and found a freezer was well alight.
The fire was extinguished and the male home-owner was treated with oxygen therapy for smoke inhalation.
