COOKING left unattended caused two fire engines to be dispatched to a house in Barrow tonight.
Fire crews from Barrow and Walney were called to Kirkstone Crescent in Hawcoat just after 8.30pm.
Unattended cooking had caused a small fire in the kitchen of the property.
The fire was out on arrival but smoke was cleared using a ventilation fan.
