FIREFIGHTERS put out a rubbish fire, which they described as being 'well alight', at an old industrial site in Barrow.
In the latest call-out to Salthouse Mills, the crew from Barrow used breathing apparatus and extinguished a rubbish fire at 7.30pm tonight.
The site has been the scene of several incidents in the last few months, with many blazes believed to have been started deliberately.
Last night the Barrow crew was called out to a car on fire at the same location.
Barrow fire boss Roger Exley described the whole site as a "massive fire hazard" earlier this year.
