BLACK smoke has filled the sky after a fire broke out in the car park of a Barrow supermarket.
Around 11.15am locals noticed a thick cloud of smoke coming from near the Asda superstore in Walney Road.
Footage shot by eyewitnesses shows at least four cars on fire, surrounded by several firefighters trying to tackle the blaze.
The fire has reportedly been extinguished, with firefighters remaining on site to damp down the area.
