In the light of Frankie and Benny's announcing plans to close 33 restaurants, Evening Mail readers have been discussing the potential for other chains to open up in the town. Many have posted comments on the paper's Facebook page.

Burger King is often a hot topic for discussion, after a former restaurant in Dalton Road closed some years ago.
Meanwhile, others have called for popular chicken chain Nando's to open up in Barrow.
