RESIDENTS will today go to the polls to vote for the next Police and Crime Commissioner for Cumbria.
Five candidates are set to battle it out for the position:
Independent candidate Mary Robinson;
Liberal Democrat candidate Lorraine Birchall;
Labour candidate, Reg Watson;
Michael Pye, who is representing the UKIP party;
Peter McCall is the Conservative candidate.
In the last election, in 2012, just 15 per cent of you voted. Are you going to vote today?
