EMERGENCY services have been called out this afternoon after a sailing boat capsized.
Police and ambulance services responded quickly to the incident, in Biggar village, Walney, after calls at 3.51pm today.
Two men were taken ill after the incident on the water.
It is believed a police officer witnesses the boat capsize, allowing police to quickly get control of the incident.
The coastguard and Barrow RNLI were called out to the incident, but police had the situation under control before the boat was able to launch.
