MORE than four police vehicles and paramedics were called out to a house in Barrow this evening.
Officers were called out the property in West View Road, Barrow at around 5.15 pm because of a welfare issue.
A spokesperson for Cumbria police said officers were called because of a "concern for welfare incident" and confirmed that someone had been taken to hospital.

They also confirmed that no crime had taken place and that the force is not investigating anything further.
Residents watching the incident said they had seen officers carrying a battering ram and some thought there had been a hostage issue taking place.
Paramedics left West View Road around 7pm.
