A 31-year-old has been charged with producing cannabis.
Daryl Craig Langhorn, of Cleator Street, Dalton, appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
It is alleged that on December 16, in Barrow, he produced a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B.
Langhorn pleaded not guilty to the offence.
The case was adjourned to Preston Crown Court on June 17 for a further hearing.
He was released on unconditional bail until that date.
