ONE lucky player has won the cash she needs to pay for her "daughter's dream day" after scooping more than £18,000 at Apollo Bingo in Barrow.
Debra Corkish, 52, from Dalton, won a whopping £18,772.60 at Apollo Bingo Club in Barrow on Sunday night.
Mrs Corkish has played regularly at the club for the past year.
She said: "It has come at just the right time, it pays for my daughter's dream day."
The club is planning a celebration on Sunday August 27, where the cheque will be presented. The event coincides with the club's exclusive holiday giveaway with a trip to New York up for grabs.
Dave Marsden, general manager of Apollo Bingo, said: “We are thrilled to have a big win at the Apollo. Our congratulations go out to our lucky winner.”
