WEATHER warnings are out in force today as the tail end of Storm Doris sweeps over the UK.
After a brief respite yesterday, heavy rain and gales are expected to batter the west coast of the UK, with Cumbria taking the brunt.
A yellow warning for rain has been issued by the met office, in force from the early ours of Saturday until at least 10pm at night.
The public have been warned to expect delays on the roads and some localised flooding.
There are flood warnings in effect for the Rivers Duddon, Crake and Mill Beck. The Environment Agency will monitor the situation throughout the day and will update residents in the catchment areas with any new information if it arises.
There are also warnings in force for the Rivers:
* Brathay, Rothay and Winster
* Caldew and Petteril
* Ehen, Calder, Irt and Esk
* Kent and Bela
