CREWS attended a small electrical fire in Barrow town centre.
Firefighters from Barrow and Walney were called out to the Royal Mail delivery office in Abbey Road this lunch time.
The fire service said they attended after receiving a report that half the lights had gone out at the office and there was a smell burning.
The crews said there had been a small electrical fire which was out on arrival and they made safety checks.
