A MAN accused of carrying a stanley knife on Walney will appear in crown court.
David Cottier, 50, of Abbotsmead Approach, Barrow, is charged with carrying the knife in Dover Street on November 1 earlier this month.
He appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on November 15 where he elected trial by jury.
Cottier will appear at Preston Crown Court on December 15 for trial.
