AT least 12 firefighters spent four hours tackling a blaze at Kimberly-Clark in Barrow last night.
The fire had started after some machinery in the burner room had burnt out.
When fire crews arrived, they had to cut away wall panels to access the fire, which had spread to the roof and the floor space.
Crews from Barrow, Ulverston and the on-call crew from Walney attended and were at the scene from 7pm until 11pm.
