A THIEF who stole a valuable bicycle has been told to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work in the community.
Kieron Daly, of Bath Street, Barrow, pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The 27-year-old admitted stealing an £800 bike from Daniel Toole in Barrow on June 17 of this year.
Daly was also ordered to pay an £85 surcharge and £85 costs.
