A WOMAN from Barrow has been sentenced to a community order following her conviction for assault.
Appearing at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court yesterday (17), Erika Jane Fox, 37, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to one count of assault, one public order offence and one count of failing to surrender to bail. The incidents occurred between September 15 and October 4.
For the assault Fox was given a 12-month community order, which will include a maximum of 25 days of rehabilitation activity. She was also fined £40, and ordered to pay £100 in compensation and court costs of £85.
For the failure to answer to bail she was fined £25 and given a 12-month community order, which will include up to 25 days of rehabilitation activity.
