A CHARITY walk is being held to raise funds for a struggling community bus service.
Friends of the X112 are hosting the annual event to keep the Barrow to Coniston service running.
People of all ages are encouraged to come along and show their support on Saturday August 5 for the bus which is run by Blueworks Taxis Ltd.
Last year's effort raised £2,500 and the group have hosted a number of events to keep the X112 going after the council scrapped the subsidy.
There will be three main stages; Barrow to Bardsea, Bardsea to Sparkbridge and Coniston to Sparkbridge.
