BARROW Borough Council has withdrawn charges against two women accused of fly-tipping.
Karen Cotton, of Biggar Bank Road, Walney, and a second woman Linzi Stanway, had been listed to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with dumping at least one refuse bag containing food and non-recyclable waste at Tesco Extra in Barrow.
Barrow Borough Council has since confirmed that the charges against both women have been withdrawn.
