Cavendish Street in Barrow
AN independent retail chain's store in Barrow town centre is set to close next week.
Gee's in Barrow Four people are set to lose their jobs following the announcement that Gee's in Cavendish Street will close on June 25. The store is owned by Amanda Grasson, who owns two other Gee's stores in Kendal and Bowness, which are remaining open.
The Evening Mail understands the decision to close the shop has been made as a result of a fall in sales.
