A SERIES of free walks are taking place across the summer, with one set to commemorate the Great War.
Barrow cemetery will host the First World War walk on Sunday August 20 at 2pm, visiting memorials and graves for those who lost their lives between 1914-1918.
A general walk will be taking place on Sunday August 13, from 2pm at the cemetery, and another in Dalton on Wednesday, August 16 at 6pm.
