A PHOTOGRAPH of a kitchen devastated by a fire at a home in Ulverston has been published.
A fire crew from Barrow was called in to help Ulverston firefighters tackle the blaze which was thought to have been caused by an unattended chip pan at around 6pm on Saturday August 27.
Considerable damage was done to the property in Birkett Drive, Ulverston but no one was injured.

Upon leaving the house, firefighters were then called out to reports of controlled burning in Swan Sweet, Ulverston where it is thought someone was trying to have a bonfire.
