A BURST water main in Barrow has been fixed, with water supply returning to properties affected in the Barrow and Ulverston area.
A burst main was reported in Rampside Road just before midnight and caused customers in the LA12 and LA13 postcodes to have poor water pressure or lose their supply altogether.
A team of engineers arrived on site at 4am.
In an update at 2.45pm, United Utilities said: "Our team of engineers has finished repairing the leaking pipe on Rampside Road and the water should be starting to flow normally again.
"However it may take up to two hours for the water pressure to return to normal levels.
"We're sorry if this has affected you and thank you for your patience."
