POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 10-year-old boy was hit by a car in Barrow.
The collision happened at around 6.40pm last night in Park Road in Barrow.
A 10-year-old boy from Barrow, who is understood to have been with two other youngsters, was hit by a Ford Focus while crossing the road.
The boy suffered minor head injuries.
The car was being driven by a woman from Barrow. The motorist did not suffer any injuries.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
