A SHOPLIFTER who stole alcohol costing £18 from a supermarket has been fined £40.
Jamie Lee Higginson, 19, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on October 11 where he pleaded guilty to theft from a shop.
Higginson, of Flyde Road, Preston, was fined and ordered to pay £18 compensation to Booths in Windermere, as well as court costs of £85 for the incident which took place on April 22.
