DONORS in Barrow have been urged to give their blood to those who need it before they jet off for their summer holidays.
The Forum in Barrow will be turned into a donation centre on Thursday July 28 to allow people to give blood.
Amanda Eccles, senior marketing coordinator at NHS Blood and Transplant, said: “This is the time of year when we need our amazing donors in Barrow more than ever.
"If you can make and keep an appointment you will be doing an incredibly important thing – helping us to save and improve lives at a time."
