COPELAND residents have less than a week to take part in a council scheme aimed at saving money.
The borough council's Big Switch is offering a group buying scheme to help the 10 per cent of residents living in fuel poverty.
Copeland’s portfolio holder for energy, David Moore, said: "Fuel is an increasing cost, particularly for those on lower incomes. The scheme closes at midnight on October 9. Ten per cent of people in Copeland are in fuel poverty and we want to help them - and everyone else - get the best deal available."
